If you haven't tried it, what are you waiting for? :) It's simple, a wee bit messy (but nothing that can't be solved with wet wipes or a trip to the sink) and a whole ton of creative, indoor fun. Especially for rainy days like the spate of showers we've been having around here.
This was my first workshop for kids and honestly, I think I was more nervous about it than they were! I was worried about everything.. will they be bored, will they listen and follow instructions, will it be too hard for them, will the stickers be too small for them? And on and on the little voice in my head went. I gotta learn to shush it one of these days.
It took me a while, but I finally blocked out the doubts & came up with a pack of blank supplies that I hoped the kiddies would like. Here's what each one of them got, complete with a little thumbprint sticker pegged onto the paper bag with their name on it.
I had doodled a whole bunch of cartoon eyes and mouths to turn into stickers for this workshop. I completely forgot to take into the account the small size of fingerprints, meaning that the stickers had to be tiny! These may just be the smallest stickers I've ever made.
I've got plans to make giant versions of these to stick on household appliances and furniture. Need to plan my time better to fit in all the things I want to do!
The workshop was really fun and I hope the kids enjoyed it as much as I did! A huge thank you to Melissa at Sew Make Create for making this happen!
